Where Anchorwise Began
Anchorwise came together in Phuket after a small number of people working in administrative support noticed a recurring pattern: individuals approaching retirement age had accumulated years of correspondence, statements, and forms — but no clear way to organise them. Not because they were careless, but because nobody had ever shown them a simple system for keeping retirement paperwork in order.
The name comes from the idea of an anchor not as something that holds you back, but as a point of stable reference in otherwise uncertain waters. Retirement documentation can feel like open sea. We offer a calm, fixed point to orient around.
Since opening, we have worked with a wide range of people — some recently retired, some still working and planning ahead, some trying to help an elderly relative put their paperwork in order. What they share is an appreciation for the unhurried, non-pressuring way we work.
What We Set Out to Do
Our purpose is simple: to help people feel more settled about their retirement paperwork. We do not tell people what financial decisions to make. We do not assess entitlements or represent clients before any authority. What we do is help people understand what documents they have, what those documents are for, and how to keep them accessible and current.
We believe that well-organised records make every subsequent conversation with a financial or legal professional more productive. Coming to an adviser with a tidy archive is a different experience from arriving with a carrier bag of unsorted paperwork.
The Anchorwise Team
Margaret Rowe
Founder & Lead Organiser
Margaret spent over fifteen years in administrative coordination before establishing Anchorwise. She leads all client sessions and designed the archive templates used across our services.
Daniel Prakash
Workshop Facilitator
Daniel facilitates the Extended Orientation Workshops and developed the printed resource packs. He has a background in adult education and a particular skill for making complex terminology accessible.
Siriporn Kasem
Client Liaison
Siriporn handles enquiries and scheduling, and ensures every client feels comfortable before their first session. She is often the first person clients speak with when they contact us.
Our Standards and Approach
Every session and tool we offer is built around a small number of principles we take seriously.
Administrative Scope Only
We keep our activities strictly within document organisation and general information. We do not give financial or legal advice, and we make this clear to every client from the outset.
Careful Handling of Documents
Personal documents shown during sessions are treated with discretion. We do not retain copies and we do not share client information with third parties. Our privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
Plain Language Always
Every explanation we give is in plain English. If a term needs clarifying, we clarify it. We prepare written summaries when clients request them, using the same accessible language.
Your Pace, Your Schedule
Sessions are scheduled to suit you. We do not book back-to-back appointments. Each client gets adequate preparation time and a follow-up window for questions.
Systems Built for Maintenance
We build review cycles and update prompts into every system we help you create. A well-structured archive is only useful if it stays current — our templates are designed with that in mind.
Open to Feedback
We ask every client for feedback after their session. If something did not meet their expectations, we address it. This is how the service has developed since we opened.
How Anchorwise Approaches Its Work
Pension documentation can accumulate quietly over many years. Annual statements, nomination forms, scheme booklets, transfer acknowledgements, correspondence from previous employers — each document is individually understandable, but together they form a body of material that can feel unwieldy without a coherent filing approach.
Anchorwise works with people who want to take a measured, organised approach to that accumulation. Our sessions and tools are not intended to replace the work of a qualified financial planner or legal adviser. They are intended to make that work easier, by ensuring that when the moment comes to consult a professional, the documents you need are accessible, labelled, and current.
We are based in Ratsada, Mueang Phuket, and serve clients across the Phuket area as well as those who prefer to work remotely. Our working language is English, which suits many of the international residents and longer-term visitors who make up a significant part of Phuket's community.
Retirement documentation concerns people at many different life stages — those still in employment who want to start organising early, those who have recently finished work and are navigating a changed administrative landscape, and those who are helping a parent or relative put their affairs into a manageable form. Anchorwise's sessions and tools are designed to be useful across all of these situations.
Everything we do is administrative or educational in nature. We are not regulated by any financial authority, and we do not carry out activities that require regulation. Our scope is document organisation and general information, and we stay within it.
